How soon will I see the benefits of wearing TLBC's Silk Bonnet ?

We’ve had customers see results on day 1 and others after a couple of weeks. It can vary between hair types. Wouldn't a silk pillowcase deliver the same results?

Whilst sleeping on a silk pillowcase is great for your skin, it doesn’t have the same overnight conditioning effect as our silke bonnets. Our bonnets cocoons hair, encasing your precious natural oils rather than allowing them be lost on your pillow. This enables your natural oils to spread evenly from root to tip - acting as a naturally nourishing and deeply restorative conditioning treatment whilst you sleep. You no longer have to worry about dry brittle ends and oils are no longer concentrated at the roots, so greasy hair days are few and far between - lessening the need to wash! Will the silk not make my head hot at night?

It’s perfect for wavy,naturally curly and big hair, because our bonnets are made of 100% silk, so it is able to retain essential oils and moisture that are so necessary for curly hair in particular, that other materials such as cotton (like most pillowcases) and satin absorb. By cocooning your hair in 100% silk in this way, the retained natural oils and moisture are able to distribute evenly along the entire hair shaft. How to Wash ?

For Hand wash which is always the best and safest method for washing particularly delicate items like silk:

Step1. Fill a basin with <= lukewarm water 30°C/86°F.

Step2. Add a few drops of detergent.

Step3. Let the garment soak for three minutes.

Step4. Gently wash the delicates in the water.
